The theme for this game jam was repair, and so we decided to do it in a medieval spin. In Pitstop Blacksmith, you are a blacksmith that has to repair swords under time pressure. Each sword has a different way it's deformed and requires different steps to fix. Your goal is to learn how each tool works with the sword and try to bring each sword to its original state.
For this game, I was mostly working on the music, dabbling into a more medieval feel, which ended up being quite fun, with an upbeat chill vibe to it. I also helped implement a new way for deforming the sword by bending it (working in C#, Unity).
In Mouse House, you play as a mouse that is trying to survive each day by gathering cheese scattered around the barn-house, while avoiding the deadly cat.
This project was my first real experience with composing for a game, and I am quite happy with the results. The audio and music can really convey the danger of the cat, even when she is out of sight and the shift of music when you get spotted is very intense and fun.
